On the heels of the success of its first virtual engagement officer (VEO) powered completely by artificial intelligence, �鶹ԭ�� (�鶹ԭ��) is adding a second, named Adam.  

Adam joins Ava, the institution’s first fully autonomous VEO, in connecting with alumni, donors and supporters in highly personalized ways. �鶹ԭ�� was one of the first universities nationwide to pioneer this shift in operations in partnership with , a Boston-based digital fundraising and engagement company.  

Ava’s role is to deliver customized touchpoints, learn constituents’ interests and guide them to the causes that align with their values.  

“Over the past year, she has done a fantastic job engaging our campus community and keeping them updated on all things �鶹ԭ��,” said John Templeman, director of Annual Giving at �鶹ԭ��. “Adding another virtual engagement officer was a no-brainer, and we are excited to see what Adam will deliver.”  

In the first year of working with Ava, she doubled retention and participation rates, meaning more �鶹ԭ�� alumni, donors and supporters are remaining connected with the University and giving to causes meaningful to them.   

Adam will help �鶹ԭ�� expand engagement efforts by working alongside Ava and connecting with his own portfolio of constituents.  

"Implementing new technologies is a mantra of higher education, and we want to embrace that future while honoring the personal connections that our alumni and development teams already have with our supporters,” added Dr. Chad Warren, vice president of advancement and executive director of the �鶹ԭ�� Foundation. “This is another exciting way for us to connect more people to �鶹ԭ��."
