Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Minimum cumulative high school GPA: 2.3 (based on a 4.0 scale)

English language proficiency — Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency by meeting at least one of the following requirements:

  • TOEFL iBT
    • Tests taken on or after January 21, 2026: Minimum overall score of 4.0, with scores of at least 3.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 4.0 in Writing
    • Tests taken before January 21, 2026: Minimum overall score of 78, with no section score below 17
  • IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.0
  • iTEP: Minimum score of 3.8
  • Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 105
  • ACT: Minimum English score of 20
  • SAT:
    • Tests taken before March 2016: Minimum Critical Reading score of 470
    • Tests taken in March 2016 or later: Minimum Reading and Writing score of 530.
  • Successful completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language Center

Applicants from countries included on Âé¶¹Ô­´´â€™s English language proficiency exemption list may be exempt from submitting an English language proficiency test score.

Additional Requirements

All first year students must meet a minimum math placement test score. If you don't meet this requirement, you may have to take a remedial math course or follow a self-study plan to improve your math skills and meet the fundamental requirements, which may result in an extension of your original study plan.
